Besides printed books, the TU Delft Library has a large collection of online books (now 52.000 e-books). These were findable in the catalogue, but until recently, not visible in the book gallery.
Since September 2012 the Library installed QR-tags on several locations in the book gallery that take the customer to e-books in a certain field of study, a certain title or specific book. Scanning the QR-tags with a smartphone leads to the TU Delft catalogue (Discover) which gives access to a particular e-book or to all available e-books discussing a certain field of study.
